Investor Area User Manual
How to register to the investor area:
Note: Only current investors with a subscription to an investment fund can register. Otherwise your registration will be automatically rejected.
Step-by-Step Instructions for Registering an Account:
- Access the Registration Page:
- Click on the “Investor Area” link in the top menu of the Monarque Fund’s website.
- Open the Registration Form:
- On the “Investor Area” sign-in page, click on “Investor Registration”.
- Fill in Your Personal Information:
- First Name: Enter your first name in the “First Name” field.
- Last Name: Enter your last name in the “Last Name” field.
- E-Mail: Enter your email address in the “E-Mail” field. Ensure this is a valid email address as it will be used for account notifications and also an email that you have used to communicate with Monarque Fund before.
- Portuguese Tax ID: Enter your Portuguese Tax ID in the “Portuguese Tax ID” field.
- Country: Enter your country of birth in the “Country” field.
- Create Your Password:
- Password: Create a strong password and enter it in the “Password” field. This password should be at least 8 characters long and include a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters for security purposes (opcional).
- Submit the Registration Form:
- If you want the registration credentials to be sent to your email, check the box next to “Send these credentials via email.”
- Click on the “Register” button at the bottom of the form.
- Wait for Approval:
- After submitting the registration form, your account will be reviewed by the Monarque Funds Team.
- You will receive an email notification once your account is approved.
- Please note that you will not be able to access the investor area until your account is approved.
How to login into the investor area:
Step-by-Step Instructions for Logging into Your Account:
- Access the Login Page:
- Click on the “Investor Area” link in the top menu.
- Open the Login Form:
- On the “Investor Area” page, you will see the login form.
- Enter Your Login Credentials:
- Email: Enter the email address you used during registration in the “Email” field.
- Password: Enter your password in the “Password” field.
- Optional – Remember Me:
- If you want the website to remember your login details for future sessions, check the “Remember Me” box. This will remember your login up to 1 month.
- Submit the Login Form:
- Click on the “Log In” button to access your investor account.
- Trouble Logging In?
- If you have forgotten your password or are having trouble logging in, click on the “Forgot your password?” link below the “Log In” button.
- Follow the instructions the next step on how to reset your password.
How to reset your password:
Step-by-Step Instructions for Recovering Your Password:
- Access the Password Recovery Page:
- Click on the “Investor Area” link in the top menu.
- Open the Password Recovery Form:
- On the “Investor Area” page, click on the “Forgot your password?” link below the “Log In” button.
- Enter Your Email Address:
- Enter the email address associated with your Monarque Funds account in the “Email” field.
- Submit the Password Recovery Form:
- Click on the “Get New Password” button.
- You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.
- Open the Password Reset Email:
- Check your email inbox for a message from Monarque Funds.
- Open the email and click on the password reset link provided.
- Enter a New Password:
- The link will take you to a page where you can create a new password.
- Enter a new password in the “New Password” field. Ensure this password is strong and secure.
- Confirm the New Password:
- Re-enter the new password in the “Confirm New Password” field.
- Click on the “Reset Password” button to save your new password.
- Login with Your New Password:
- Return to the login page.
- Enter your email address and the new password you just created.
- Click on the “Log In” button to access your account.
How to navigate your investor area:
Overview
Upon logging in, you will be presented with the investor area interface. This interface is divided into two main sections:
- Left side: Menu navigation
- Right side: Content area displaying information for the selected menu item
Menu Navigation
The left-side menu provides access to the following sections:
- Dashboard
- Upload of Documents
- Communications and Notifications
- Fund Documentation
- Financial Reports
- General Assembly of Participants
Dashboard
The Dashboard provides an overview of all available menu options. It serves as a central hub for quick access to different areas of your investor portal.
As shown in Image 2, the Dashboard displays five main sections:
- Upload of Documents
- Communications and Notifications
- Fund Documentation
- Financial Reports
- General Assembly of Participants
Each section is represented by an icon and a “View page” button, allowing you to quickly navigate to the desired area.
Fund Documentation
This page allows you to view and upload files related to your investment fund.
Communications and Notifications
Here you can find files and updates regarding communications from your investment fund.
Financial Reports
This page contains financial documents and reports related to your investment fund.
General Assembly of Participants
Access information and documents related to general assembly meetings.
Downloading files
All of these different menu items will have a listing of documents regarding to their respective category grouped by their corresponding year. Attached to each document there will be a “View document” button that allows you to download the corresponding document.
If there are no documents you will see a message mentioning “No documents found”, if you think you are seeing this by mistake and should have access to some documents please feel free to contact us.
Uploading Documents
To upload documents to your investor area:
- Navigate to the “Upload of Documents” section from the left-side menu.
- You will see an upload area at the top of the page labeled “Upload a document”.
- Within this area, you’ll find a box that says “Click here to select the files to upload”.
- Click on this box to open your computer’s file browser.
- Select the file you wish to upload. (Note that only PDF or DOCX files up to 50MB are accepted.)
- Once you’ve selected your file, it will begin uploading automatically.
- If the upload is successful, a popup will appear confirming that the file was uploaded successfully. The page will automatically refresh after 3 seconds.
- If the upload fails for any reason, a popup will appear informing you of the failure.
Your uploaded documents will appear in the “Your uploaded documents” section below the upload area.
Managing Uploaded Documents
To view your previously uploaded documents:
- Scroll down to the “Your uploaded documents” section.
- Here you’ll see a list of all documents you’ve uploaded, displayed by filename.
To delete a previously uploaded document:
- Locate the document you wish to delete in the “Your uploaded documents” list.
- Click the red “Delete” button to the right of the filename.
- Confirm the deletion, by clicking on “Delete File” button when prompted to make sure you want to delete the given file.
Remember to only upload documents that are relevant to your investment and that you have the right to share. If you’re unsure about what documents to upload, please contact us for guidance.
Logging-out
In order to log-out of your account, on the bottom-left part of your investor area you will see a message that says “Welcome, Your Name”, click this message and a button named “Logout” will show up. Click the logout button in order to logout of your account and be redirected to the investor area log-in page.
