Manuel is currently the CEO at Golden Monarque SCR SA. Manuel joined Golden Monarque in 2022 from working at ECS Capital, where he was CFO, managing the financing, legal and tax matters of a €1,2 Billion portfolio, in two different jurisdictions and 62 entities.
Previously, he worked at JPMorgan/Imopólis as a CEO, managing the Imodesenvolvimento Fund, with more than €300 million assets under management. Before that he worked for 15 years as a CFO at the Grupo Mello Real Estate area and for 4 years as a controller in the industrial area.
Manuel holds a degree in Business Organization and Management, from ISCTE – IUL, in Lisbon, and a Master in Business Administration, from ISEG, in Lisbon.
He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Manuel is a certified member of RICS, in Property Finance and Investment.
Additionally, he is a visiting professor, at ISEG, of the Master in Real Estate Management and Valuation, teaching real estate valuations.

He is also the Executive Chairman of Stuart Investment Management Ltd, a Canadian Financial Institution headquartered in Montreal, and a member of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and the Canadian Investor Protection Fund (CIPF).

Mariana is currently an Office Manager at Golden Monarque SCR S.A., responsible for giving support to the Direction, communicating between Partners, Suppliers and others, organizing the office, and other business support work. Mariana started at Golden Monarque in 2024, and previously worked at GrupoConcept as an Administrative Assistant. Mariana studied in England at Reading College. She is fluent in Portuguese and English.
